Moment of Silence for Jack Roney

    TSA Reps,

The Raleigh community lost a swim legend, Jack Roney, this past Sunday night and several reps have requested that honor him and his family at the swim meets tonight with a moment of silence before the meets begin tonight at 6 pm.  So I am asking that we all have a moment of silence for Jack and his family tonight.  If you did not know Jack a brief bio is below.  Additionally, there is a GoFundMe setup to help Jack's wife and her kids.

Jack grew up swimming in Charlotte but came to Raleigh to swim for the Wolfpack in 2008 and has been active in the Raleigh swim community ever since. He coached for the Bedford Sharks Swim Team for a couple years back when their team started. He was also a coach on the year-round team RSA for many years. He and his wife Maresa, also a former NC State swimmer, have five young children who all love to be in the water.

Jack and Maresa are known to so many people in the Raleigh area through their involvement with swimming.
