Cecil L. Williamson TSA Educational Grants: To be eligible, a swimmer or TSA coach must be an entering first year student in a college, technical, business, or other post-secondary school, or an enlistee in the US armed forces. The year of grant eligibility does not have to coincide with a swimmer’s last season of TSA eligibility. A swimmer must also have competed in the last two consecutive TSA swim seasons of eligibility and have swum in a minimum of three dual meets in each of the seasons. To qualify as a coach, one must have competed as a swimmer in the two seasons prior to becoming a TSA coach and have swum in a minimum of three dual meets in each of the seasons.
Pool Professional Scholarship: Pool Professionals has once again generously sponsored the Partnership Scholarship for TSA swimmers. Be sure to have your eligible swimmers fill out the application by the end of July.
2020 Grant winners
For this unprecedented swim season, the TSA Board of Directors is pleased to still be able to award the Cecil L Williamson TSA Educational grants. On Monday (6/22/20), TSA President Tracey Mizell and TSA Secretary Jenny Smith drew 25 names from the final list of eligible TSA graduating seniors for the Cecil L Williamson TSA Educational Grant.
The list of winners is below.Each winner will receive an Educational Grant in the amount of $400. These checks will be mailed to the address on record for each swimmer when their application was entered.
