TSA Swimmers — Get Ready for Champs!

The TSA Championship Meet is one of the most exciting events of the season, held near the end of the regular dual meet schedule. All TSA member teams are invited to participate — and swimmers of all skill levels are encouraged to join in!

✅ There’s no limit to how many swimmers can attend from your team — even if it’s just one! As long as a coach is present, any swimmer is welcome. If a swimmer wants to compete but their coach isn’t able to attend, please reach out — we’ll help make arrangements.

This meet is a great opportunity for every swimmer who can swim unassisted — not just your fastest athletes!

🚫 Special Note for 6 & Unders: Swimmers in this age group must be able to complete the full 25-yard length of the pool on their own. No “kid catchers” or shortened distances (like 15 yards/meters) are allowed. All standard TSA rules apply — there are no exceptions to technical requirements for 6 & under events.

Arrival Time: Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your swimmers warm-up time for their session listed below.

A waiver needs to be completed for all swimmers participating in the meet. If you registered for this years swim team using another process than through SwimTopia, please complete this before July 15, 2026. For those that registered through your team’s site in SwimTopia, the waiver was part of your registration process.  Waiver

TSA Fee's can be paid HERE. 

The deadline to declare entry is Wednesday, July 8th at 8:00pm. Families and/or coaches can do this via SwimTopia just as they declare entry into a dual meet.

Deadline for coaches or TSA Reps to seed their team's entries and lock to changes is midnight, Thursday, July 9th. Again, this is done in your team's SwimTopia individual team account.

Late entries will be accepted for double the entry fee between July 10 to July 14th before 5:00pm at the discretion of the meet director, taken on a first come first served basis and only if there is space in the first heat of any given individual event.

This form must be completed by all participating teams, one per team. It is due by July 15. It must contain contact information of a coach that will be present on meet day. If no coach will be on deck, then fill in the form for the responsible adult that may be attending any unaccompanied swimmers.

What to bring: (for the swimmers)

• Towel or two
• Goggles (and a spare if you have them)
• Swim Cap (and a backup)
• Drinks (Water / Gatorade)
• Snacks / Light food
• Bag / Folding Chair - Bleachers are also available for teams
• Phone / iPad with headphones
• Portable charger / charger cable
• Swim parka or sweatshirt to keep swimmer warm between events
• Anything else to keep them entertained and not running around

For Families of Swimmers:

The Pool Side Grill will be open for purchases. They accept Card, Cash, or tap to pay. You can view their menu HERE. 

There are also multiple vending machines on site that accept cash, card, or tap to pay.

Meet Schedule

Team check-in will be begin at 6:30am. All volunteers will check in 1 hour prior to the start of each session. Check-in will be held outside the main doors of TAC. 

Swimmers for Sessions 1 & 2 will enter the pool deck with their coaches & kid pushers through the lower level pool doors. Sessions 3 & 4 will enter the pool through the lower level pool doors.

ESTIMATED Timeline: 

Team check-in will start at 6:30 am.

• Division Winners will be announced between Sessions 2 and 3. Teams that won their division can come on the pool deck with their coach at this time to accept their trophy. Division Winners can be viewed HERE (to be updated after the last meet). Division winners not participating in TSA Championship are welcome to come and accept their trophy, Coaches with their team.
• Senior Scholarship Awards will be announced before the start of Session 4
• Volunteer check-in is 1 hour prior to the start of each session.
• Parents must meet their swimmer OUTSIDE the front door at the end of each session.

Volunteers

Each team will be allowed up to 2 kid pushers for Session 1 & 2 each to assist swimmers getting to the Clerk of Course. If you're interested in being a kid pusher, please let us know. Teams are expected to provide other volunteers based on the size of your team participating. All TSA teams (participating or not) are asked to provide donations to Hospitality.

Coaches are expected to closely supervise their swimmers at all times. Running and horseplay will not be allowed. Coaches/Kid Pushers will be responsible for bringing all 10 & Under swimmers to the starting blocks for relays and to Clerk of Course for individual events.

Awards

• Medals:
  • 1st – 8th place individual events
  • 1st – 3rd place relays
• Ribbons:
  • 9th – 16th place individual events
  • 4th – 8th place relays

Individual awards will be presented for age groups: 6&U, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18

High point awards will be given to the female and male of each age group: 6&U, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18

The Championship Trophy (traveling) and Team Trophy will be presented to the top-scoring team. The Small Team trophy will be presented to the highest point team with 100 or less swimmers on their roster for the 2024 season.

Scoring

Scoring will be as follows:

• Individual event points: 20-17-16-15-14-13-12-11-9-7-6-5-4-3-2-1
• Individual events will be scored for age groups: 6&U, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18
• Relay event points: Double the individual points.
• Only one (1) relay may score from each team in each relay event.

Hospitality

Drinks and snacks will be provided on deck to coaches, officials and volunteers. Meals will be provided to coaches in the hospitality room.

Mobile App

The SwimTopia mobile app is not used for the TSA Championship meet. Instead, you can see your swimmers results in the Meet Mobile app.
