Dear TSA reps, 

On behalf of the transgender TF I wanted to send out one last communication prior to our discussion and vote on the pathway related to this topic this coming Tuesday. As a reminder, here are the two proposed pathways that we will be voting on as developed and agreed upon by the TF. 

A. Parents shall register their child to swim in the category of their biological sex at birth, or

B. Parents may register their child to swim in their preferred gender category (“competition category”), regardless of biological sex at birthIf anyone has questions that they would like to pose prior to the meeting on Tuesday via email, the TF is happy to review and possibly even respond prior to the meeting in an attempt to be as time efficient as possible. Please send these questions directly to me. We will begin this section of the meeting with a very brief (2-3) minute recap of the high level points leading to the development of each pathway to be considered for the vote. Option A Option B We will then open the floor to questions related to these two pathways, but I will be moderating and will aim to keep the discussion pointed and on topic. Following the discussion period we will be voting on the pathway/position and given the sensitivity of the topic we've decided to go old school and will be voting on paper ballots (one vote per team). Two TF members (one from each side) will count the ballots while I continue with the meeting and we'll report the outcome in real time. Reminder, following this section of the meeting, Jeremy Dott will be presenting the new rules proposals so we need to be time conscious. I have already bumped the Treasurer's report to the March meeting to help with timing. Thanks again for your patience as we aim to dial in on some clarity for the league in this area.
