Hi all! The Medfield Sharks replaced their blocks a couple of summers ago and we have our 6 previous blocks that are just taking up deck space.They are made of a composite material and are very heavy. We've never weighed them but if I had to estimate, I'd say around 100 lbs each. One strong person can move them, but we recommend two for safety. Another thing to note is that at the time that they were custom made, our concrete wasn't consistently flat on the starting end of the pool so some custom cuts and rubber "feet" were added to some in an effort to make them sit flush with the deck. Thus, some may need tweaks to fit the next pool deck that they grace. Lastly, we used 4" anti slip tape on the tops. You can find it at the big box stores or cheaper on Amazon
